Odd PVC Piping question

OK - I am wondering if there is an easier way to do something.
I have decied I would rather have a small line coming off my main drainnage line so I could direct some flow into my sump and also so I could divert that line into a drain come water change time ....
What I want to do is T into an exisitng drainage line of PVC without having to disassmble all the plumbing. Similar to adding an Ice Machine kit to your current copper plumbing ..... is there a way to do this with PVC or should I cut out a hunk of PVC use a Ball Valve and joins? I want the flow to be minimal and have a long length of flexible PVC so I can use it for drainnaing purposes and also use it to add some flow rate to the sump??
I hope this makes sense....

Yes there is. They use that type of setup on underground sprinkler systems. It's like a saddle T that you assemble , (snap & glue) onto the line. I just saw some at the local ranch supply place. I don't know what variety of sizes they come in.

I wouldnt use the saddle i'd get a pvc "T" and cut into the line. if you want to rig it up put a "t" in the supply side of your line and add in a ball valve on the off branch of the "T" folloed by a male adapter so you can shut it off when not using and when you are using it you can hook up a hose and open the ball vale to drain it into a bucket for your changes.

I put one of a couple of "T"'s above the outlet side of my return pump...above the "T"'s is a ball valve...each line between the ball valve and pump have ball valves...one line goes to the sink for the sole purpose of water changes...i close a couple of valves...open one...turn pump back on and it shoots the water to the sink...
