I think teenage kids have a better grasp on things than parents when it comes to the topic of teenage kids.
You are going to be surprised about all the stuff you didn't understand when you were 16 when you hit 18. And if you think that is a shocker wait until you hit 25, 35 and 50. It's amazing all the stuff you think you have figured out in life.

Obviously adults have a better grasp on most things...but I'm pretty sure that when it comes to the topic of teenagers-teenagers know it best. You older people (notice the -er? You're welcome) know what it was like to be a teenager in your time...but things have changed and things will continue changing.

Just because technology has advanced does not mean the human brain of a teenager has advanced either...Teenagers regardless still all do the same stupd mistakes and have the same complaints...

Thanks for proving our point on teenagers. All you stated was you hit your manager. Nothing else. Some people will take that to mean a car accident, other's will take that to mean an act of physical violence. Don't take it out on Flower because YOU failed to clarify your statement correctly.
There is the door....don't let it hit you on your self-absorbed rear end on the way out..........

Hopefully she's grounded. Any child of mine would be for hitting anyone... let alone an adult. Unless it's for bodily protection, it's inappropriate.
I dunno my fists did a better job teaching my brother than my mom's paddle ever did.

Well it all depends what you mean. Do we know more about the trials and tribulations of current day teenage life?, No BUT you might be surprised to learn that the issues you face are really not any difference than those your parents faced. Only that your particulate situations are unique to you. Do we have a far greater understanding of life in general? Of course. EXPERIENCE is a best teacher. Listen to the adults in your life, take notes, review them from time to time. Doesn't mean you have to follow them but at least consider them. I wish someone had told me that when I was a kid.

And the higher insurance rates will be a nice reminder to look before backing up

I had a wreck when I was like 17 that wasn't really my fault and I still felt like a heel. Backing into your bosses car has to suck right out loud
