# of power heads

since powerheads seem to be the question of the day, how many power heads would you guys suggest for a 135? i have been told anywhere form 1 to like 6. so all thoughts are welcome

Hey clue me in too.. I would like to know, does it depend on whether or not the tank is a full reef or a FOWLR???

i reccomend getting 2 wave makers. (powerheads with oscellating heads) they do the same job maybe even better than 3 or for regular power heads. good luck
