oh boy a nemo!!!......

ok, well my grandma comes over every now and then to drop off a good book or to say hi. and she always comes in to see my aquariums. whenever she comes in she says "wow your nemo fish is getting big!"

lol i need a nice way to tell her that it is not a nemo fish and that it is a clownfish. i would understand if a little kid screamed about a "nemo" fish, but not my grandma. LOL

lol...Just tell her about clownfish and that there are different kinds...kinda like hey grandma did you know that there are all kinds of different CLOWNFISH and then tell her why they call them clowns and that they live in anemones blah, blah...make it a learning experience without letting her know that you are telling her its NOT a nemo lol...I did that to a little boy a few months ago at the local aquarium. I told him all kinds of stuff about the fish. Then the little booger followed me around the rest of the day asking questions

about everything else.

After that movie came out a lot of people associate any clown as Nemo or Marlin . But some people wouldn`t have shown interest in the fish and saltwater fish without the movie . Maybe it will get them into the hobby some day as they see how awesome this hobby is .

I was at the Shedd Aquairum in Chicago last week and they had a nice tank with a bunch of fhish includings clowns. This group of people saw a tomato clown and said, "It's Nemo!" ... it was so tempting to approach them and correct them.
