That's what happens when you embrace Marxism in any form be it socialism or progressism. Pretty soon all your needs and your assets are controlled by the state.

At this rate, it's going to get to the point that I won't be able to enjoy things for me because I will be too busy paying for everyone else!

Yep. When the government tracks the statistic for the number of people living in "poverty" who own cell phones you know something aint right.

I remember something a long time ago about some sort of cell phone tax that was going to be used to setup a fund to help subsidize phones for the "poor". I was like WTF?

Read your utility bills sometime. There are fees charged on all of them to help out the "Poor". Thats all well and fine but I just get fed up with these greedy freeloaders who whine because we don't give them enough.
