OH NO Tempature problem?!?!?!

I checked the temp today in the room I have the fish tank and it is reading 81! I keep the heater at 76. It is hot today(around 72), but why is my temp up so much in my tank. It looks like it is rising.
Please tell me it will go down, I do not want anything to die!!
If this is not a mojor problem will I be looking at this problem in the summer time.

be sure you have a good heater. its one thing you cant be lax on buying. i had the same problem and bought a new heater and completely solved my problem. ebo jager is my choice.
if your heater is good, how much direct sunlight is the aquarium getting during the day? a small window with direct sunlight can cause a dramatic change in temp.
