Ok, I got the new 75 gallon tank up and running, Im also planning on building a sump out of a 29 gallon tank (once I find a good set of plans, so if you know a link to another topic post it for me please). The 75 is going to be a FOWLR tank. Im gonna put my Stone Fish and my V. Lion fish in it. I also want a snow flake eel or another type of eel. But the snow flake eels that my LFS get in are really small and I know my Stone Fish would eat them like a piece of spaghetti. So whats another fish that I could add to the tank. Lets hear some Ideas.
thanks guys,
Justin

I am no stonefish expert for sure, but you need something big enough not to be eaten and small enough to not outgrow a 75....I like the eel idea, I would look for a bigger snowflake, or Zebra, if you can find one I love Goldentail Morays.

Ya my stone fishes mouth can get really big, every now and then I see him yawn and I could early stuff a 50 cent piece in his mouth.
I really like the eel idea im gonna have to look into some other types.

Undy eel? i looked at the wolf eel and they get huge and they eat crustaceans.
Justin
Undulated Eels get near 5 feet and have the reputation for being quite aggressive.

Do you think a Niger Trigger would be fine in the tank. I really love their colors. They look like a cool fish to keep. What do you guys think.
thanks,
Justin

Nigers are awesome fish...tough call there, with the small # of fish in your tank it could be ok, they are a very large trigger though (20 inch in the wild), and in a smallish tank a Niger might
pick on your Lion (as some Triggers are known to do), I might suggest the smaller and even less prone to aggression Blue Throat Trigger....or I just got an equally non-prone to aggression Sargassum Trigger, and they are absolutely stunning, a little spendy though compared to a Niger.

Oh I'm sorry. I shouldve said Wolf Eel is an absolutely horrible idea if you actually care about your tanks inhabitants.
