I have the usual 75 gallon reef. 48" long. I have two 14k 250 watt Mh's hanging about 1 foot from the water. I recently replaced my PC's with 4' T-5 Retro's. one bulb is the UV true actinic the other is a 420 UV actinic. Is this too much light? I have mostly softies but one clam I've had almost a year and it's growth has been great. Just don't want to upset things when it's doing good. The t-5's are about 3" off the water. I have another T-5 retro but hesitated putting both retros and the MH's on all at once. Both the T-5 fixtures are new running the same bulbs. Thanks for the help.
