Ok, question again

I am sorry to ask this again, should I use sand or crushed coral for my 350 gallon? There are good and bad things about both.

I was thinking sand also, but someone said since it was acrylic, it would scratch it too much. I am so confused.

absolutely sand. cc will cause a constant struggle with detrius and nitrates.

Even with the tank being acrylic? How can I keep good flow and not have it blow around the tank and scratch it?

0.5-1.5 aragonate will not blow around. oolite will though. If I had my way I would outlaw cc. HIGH maintenance. If I had that big of tank I would go deep 6-8 inches. I'm green with envy. Good luck.

Thanks for the answer, I will show this to my husband, he is pushing for CC, but I want sand, and we already have sand in our 150, which we started with CC, and it was not fun to switch over to sand.
