My main tank that I am currently working has a hippo tang, a small amount of LR and LS base. I have been home, away from school and my tank for 3 weeks now. I have a very trustworthy person feeding/caring for my tanks. I go back shortly and want to have a quarenteen tank set up in the event that my hippo has any ich. (The person watching him knows what to look for and has not reported any yet...) I just want to be prepared. Is a 20 gallon enough? What kind of Hydrometer should I get for lowering the salinity? What type of filtration should I use on my Q tank? Also, in the event that I need to treat my tang, what should I be feeding him while in teeatment. Maybe this sounds like I am expecting the worst, but in ALL Honesty, I truly trust my fish sitter, I just want to be prepared!!! Oh yeah, I want to by a new test Kit for my water, what do you recomend?
Thanks Guys and Gals!
