A stupid cocconut hits her foot. She looks at it and sees these little clam things on it. Throws it back, washes back on shore. She does this 5 times (ocean little rough today, kids wouldnt go in) so....got a kiddie pail and pulled them off (didnt want to see them dried up on beach). Now they are in my 5gal on the kitchen counter, but dont know what they are. They look like pumpkin seeds and attach themselves like mussles. when they open, the edge is bright orange. The thing that comes out is exactly like a feather duster. In and out they go. Pretty cool filter feeders, but what are they?
