Ok so what the heck!!! Worms?

So all of a sudden a whole bunch of stringy looking brown stuff was floating around. not swimming. they came and left. dont know if worms, poop,junk?? Any thoughts

My torch has the nastiest poop in my tank...worse than my trigger.

no pic. It happened fast and Im staring at it puzzeled. I have a tongue coral, could it be?

Just how much is a "whole bunch" in this case? My torch unloads a few stringy strands at a time, maybe 5-7 inches long at the most.
