hello new here, posed a couple stuff i guess, for my setup is it okay if put the p.h pinpoint (a piece of equitement came w/my tank not sure if it is accurace or not) and the heater (#2, other one is in sump) in the "overflow" (i think its called) of my tank, (the corner where its drilled out and the black stuff keeps it from the reset of the tank) 90 gall reef w/coral thats why i dont want to drop the heater down the back of the tank and i guess i dont want it hang out at the top either
anywho if know one can figure what i mean ill post a pick

Do you have a sump? I assume you do with an overflow tank, right? If so, why not put them in there?

You could if the overflow has a standpipe that keeps the heater properly submerged at all times. Seems like it's be a little crowded and maybe not the most efficient.

There is no point in heating the water leaving your tank. Best to put it in the sump so the water is heated just before it returns to your main tank. This is the more efficient way to go and will save the life of your heater as well.
