Ok Want Now

I wrote in yesterday about something eating my tubro snails. So I tried the coke bottle trick with a piece of shrimp to try to possibly catch a mantis shrimp.
No luck, But now when I woke up something has now destroyed my serpent starfish. Ripped it apart, like in half. What do I do? Arrow crabs can't do this can they ?
All the waer levels are fine. b/c I know I will get asked.

I dont know much about crabs but at the LFS the other day I saw a starfish that had been demolished by an arrow crab.

Arrow crabs will not attack starfish for food. However, they are extremely territorial. This is one reason you should only keep one in a tank unless the tank is very large. The starfish could have been in its "territory". I have seen this before.
