Ok....what are these things?

Alright, I can't take a picture of them cause my camera isnt here. but all over my live rock there are these dark green balls. their not real big but not tiny either. I've picked one up before and it pretty hard, but if you squeeze hard enough, it will burst and a liquid will come out. Only things I have in there are 2 cleaner shrimp, some crabs and snails, 2 damsels and a rusty angel. I figure if any anmal is creating them its the shrimp. Anyone else have these?

Hey man dont worry itz just bubble algaes, but dont break these little bubbles because once it is broken, it will spread millions and millions of these stuff that will grow more bubble algaes. It is no harm to your tank, but if you really want to get rid of them, you can buy several emerald crabs ( they love to eat bubble algae), but watchout for these crabs. Many said that they do more bad then good.

lol. thanks, i never expected it to be algea. lol. Naw, when I broke it it as out side of the tank. kinda funny cause that crap squirted accross the room. :D

If it's not too bad yet, go ahead and just get it all out by hand. I bought an emerald and the d@^* thing won't touch the stuff. I ended up spending a good hour and half pulling it out with a pair of tweezers.
Emerald Crab- $8.00
Tweezers- $0.79.... hmmmm

It definitely sounds like valonia(bubble algae)...the stuff can quickly become a problem if allowed to get out of hand. Below is a link with good info on the stuff. I have been fighting the stuff in my reef for several months now....for the most part I do have it under control but there are always a few small bubbles here and there. Emeralds and manual removal have worked well for me. Hope the link helps...
