So a couple of days ago I posted here regarding my cycle...
the general opinion was that since my spike was soo soon and that the whole thing only took a week I should 'test' the water with a peeled shrimp.
So I did that last friday and have been since been awaiting a spike... the most I saw was between 0-.25 ppm ammonia (color is hard to determine) and a spike to .25 ppm nitrites.
water parameters:
ammonia: 0
nitrites: 0
nitrates: 10
ph: 8.2
SG: 1.024
I have a diatom bloom but its not out of control just yet (all over rocks and sand but not floating in the water or anything) and my rocks seem to have had plants on them as they have started to spring out in places.
So is it safe to add a clean up crew? and what would you suggest I add to a 29 gallon reef aquarium as far as clean up crew?
