Very nice Tizzo
. I love before and after shots - its cool to see such an amazing amount of growth on some of these corals. Especially given that for years, we thought they grew as little as 1" in a year or more, now we're finding that they can grow significantly faster given the right conditions.

My son's science teacher told his class that corals take millions of years to grow an inch...
Wrong kid to have in her class at the time. My kid set her straight.

woot! I love it man, could you maybe post a time frame?

Well, my tanks only been set up since this past late Feb, early Mar...
So, it's definitely less than a year, lol.
I think the pics are on my (broken) computer, so retrieving the dates would be an act of congress, but lemme see if I have any here...

And from tank shots with the other corals, they were around 5/06/08

very impressive what kind of lighting set up do you have? As fast as your growing those you will have so many frags you will never have to pay for a new coral lol.

I have 3 250W, 14K DE bulbs and simple PC's for actinic.
They do grow fast. Not sure why... maybe it's all the "nothing" I add to my tank.
