old branch coral

I hope I didn't just kill my whole tank. Found the branch coral that I had in my garage. It has been sitting in the garage for over 10
years. Washed it in the water from a water change I was in the middle of doing and put it in my tank. Any thoughts out there on what this could possibly do to my 180 tank?

Unless it was sitting in material like soap or oil, it should be just fine...It's just dead rock. In an established tank a single rock, even with dead critters (uncured) wouldn't do any harm.
