Well its been awhile since ive been on.
Any one ever use this brand of sand.
Of course it says right on the front not for use in aquariums.
My local HD sells it, but not sure if i should use it. I have had a lot of problems with my tank for awhile due to money problems and in the process of doing water changes and cleaning out the alge and cyno from the tank i lost alot of sand and would like to replace it but dont want to pay 100 bucks for like 100 pounds of sand. I will try the vinager test when i get there but dont want to waste my time if its no good.If its no good can you post what sand is good.

thats a brand that alot of hobbiests have used (including me) without any issues..
Its from the same makers of Southdown, this are calcium carbonate based>>
Disregard the :"not for aquarium use " disclamer... And choose the lightest colored sand.
