Old Glass Tanks

I will have the opportunity soon to upgrade to a used 220 glass tank. It is about ten years old. Other than resealing the tank, is there anything else I should be leary of in an older used tank? Is teh glass more brittle, change color, anything strange like that?

It is very important to know what was in it. If a sea apple or toxic nudibranch died in it and it was never cleaned properly it could kill all new inhabitants. Find out what was in it. if nothing toxic died in it clean it up seal it and give it a salt water scrub.

Will do. The taqnk is full right now and is set up as a reef. Don't think anything like a sea apple has ben put into this tank, but I will ask.
