Oldest living clown?

We have a Gold Stripe Maroon clown that is at least 12 years old. He is one tough fish and has been through more than I care to admit. This includes surviving Hurricane Isabel where the sump was flooded with storm surge water (obviously the pump was not running - so none entered tank), and was intermittently given some flow during the day (none all night) for about 2 weeks!! I really hope he stays around for long time, but don't know what their lifespan is? Does anyone have any experience with this?

Wow! Thats a long time. I would be so attached to that fish. I guess if you feed fish right and give them the right amount of space and a stress free enviorment then they will live a long time.
