What is up with my luck and niger triggerfish? It's not happenin at all! So I already told everyone about my ju-v niger that jumped out of the tiniest crease on my 40 gallon but thats all over with. But how about now! My dad receieved a good sized niger about 3-4 inches through mail order this weekend and he's been in the tank since saturday. Well I come home today to see how everyone's doing and I couldn't find him. After looking really hard I finally found him. Pasted to the bottom of the powerhead! My dad put the power head in to get some more movement in the tank and the trigger got sucked onto it and I'm afraid to say he's done. Poor thing! My question is how would it have happened? I know he liked to hang around the powerhead but he's a good sized fish and I didn't think the powerhead was that powerful. I figured that he would be able to swim away from the suction if necessary being the size of fish he is. Well thats my latest tradegy and I just felt like sharing it with you all.
