When ever someone types in all caps I imagine someone talking really loud. gives me a headache. I hate getting yelled at. but thanks for the positive news! I too have an algae problem and cant wait to get rid of it. Was the blenny, emerald crab and hermits the only technique you used? Personally Ive tried to run less lighting and scrub my rocks with a tooth brush but nothing has worked. It always comes back.

i did water changes every week and even scrubbed my rocks MANY times. finally i gave up on the scrubbing but instead tried to get the big clumps out. then i just kept a close eye on my levels and stayed with the water changes. the blenny got FAT and the crabs i think helped clean up the small stuff that the blenny couldnt get a hold of. keep at it...it will clear up like i said ill get some pic this weekend...gotta clear my memory card.
oh yeah i didnt change my lighting because i didnt want the corals to suffer any more that what they were.
i also tried fuval lab phosphate remover but that was a waste of money.good luck just stick with it!!! :happyfish

I just wanted to say GO SEA HARE! I bought a sea hare for my hair alge, i had done many of the same things , pulling clumps, got a lawn mower blenny, crabs for days! The Sea hare cleared it in a week and has kept it under control allowing the coraline to grow. I do belive i will have to get it out soon though, don't want it starving , very nasty to your tank if it dies!
