? on brain corals.

I have a 55 gal. w/4X65 watt pc. 2X65 03 actinics and 2X65 10,000k..The guy at my lfs..who seems to be very knowledgable said that I can keep brains with my lighting..Is this true..I have done some research and it seems that alot of people are having success with them with less light than I have. If i can indeed have them thrive in my tank please let me know which brains will be the best and hardyist?

You should be able to keep open and closed brain corals. From my experience only....closed brains are hardier.

i think you definately have plenty of light for a 55

I have a closed brain doing very well under the same pc lighting very happy on my sand bed!!!!

I picked these up today from LFS..Very neat colors..Is it ok if they are barely touching..I didnt realize I had them that close when I put them in display..Then of course they swelled up a whole lot..I just love the bottom of my tank now..Thanks again everyone
