? on moving to a bigger tank

I 'm setting up a bigger tank this fall and have a question about adding new fish.
The plan is to set up the larger tank and let it cycle. Move my existing livestock over. Then, I plan to use my old 35 gal tank as a QT for the new fish. Can I add multiple fish to the 35 gal tank at the same time? Say my five new chromis and my new cardinals? or should I add one bunch to my 35 gal QT and one batch to my 10 gal QT?

IMO, since you will have both a 35 and a 10 QT, seperate them. Chromis in the 35, cardinals in the 10. HTH. What did you upgrade to? What other fish do you have that are going in it?

I'm setting up a 150. I only have two fish left in my 35 - two ocellaris. My lemonpeel and gramma died when my skimmer stopped skimming on vacation and my ammonia skyrocketed.
The plan is to add a large angel with the chromis and cardinals. Something else, but not sure what - maybe a tang of some sort, or a wrasse or two. Not sure.
I'd like to keep the 35 up long enough to use it to QT the large angel so it's not cramped in my 10, but as the angel has to go in last, not sure it'll work.
