? on rics

I bought some ricordeas in Dec. I have a 12 gal tank, 3 yrs old and they have been doing well. I recently purchased a 6 gal nano cube and moved one of my rics in there.
It seems to be much bigger, reaching out its tenticles ( or what ever you call them). Is this good or bad? I'm not sure if it means he's happy or hungry.

If he's happy I might just move my other 2 rics over, if he's not happy, I might put him back in my 12 gal.
It could just be my imagineation too. Here's a pic in my 12 gal. The orange one on the bottom.

And here's a pic in my 6 gal. I know this is a close up so if kinda looks bigger, but remember this rock is MUCH smaller than in my 12 gal.

any opinions would be appreciated.

Looks good, I find that the more light for a yuma the more the expand and better they look. Thats just me though. I would leave it there.
Nice Ric..
