Rt.4 Aquarium & Pets on Rt.4 in Fair-Lawn NJ.
.....they are not selling fish, they are selling cyano and hair algae. their corals are all brown and closed, the fish are gilling heavily, the water smells funky, the lighting is sub-par.... it's really.... shocking.
PLUS, they have an entire tank full of those tattooed goldfish.

I see they haven't changed much from a few yrs ago when I was still living in NJ. I went there once. I mostly used the shop on rt 46 in Clifton. They were a little pricey but I never had any bad experiences wth them.

U mean Absolutely Fish? Those guys r AWESOME. Soooo helpful. Yes, very much on the expensive side, but they will spend hours explaining things to you if uve got any questions at all, and their stock is healthy and GORGEOUS. great great GREAT place.

We went to an exotic animal show in Jersey once. The best part was this place called "Harolds Deli" we got a piece of cake that 3 people ate 5 meals off of if that says anything. The food wasHUGE.

*sounds like one lfs here i like to check in every couple of weeks and watch the water level steadily drop in one of the tanks I believe he's forgotten abot. Last time I was there everything was dead and it was down to about an inch of brown scum.
*same place that sold Drew's newbie friend a sailfin tang and a LTA for his 24gallon aquapod....yee haw...

I grew up in Ringwood. Right on the NY state boarder. I do miss going to the city but not the high taxes.
