One last newb question

I got everything needed to set up my tank but no light yet.. Would it be ok to put in the live sand and rock in? or does the light have a big impact on cycle?

No light required to cycle. Get that stuff in an begin the cycle!!

no. Light won't impact at all. IMO. Your cycle will be fine

No it doesnt need a light. You can still cycle your tank without it, when you add the light you get some different types of bacteria but you will still get your nitrifing bacteria with or without it.
