Are there and places online where i can get some sharks not cat sharks or bamboos i mean real sharks that swim aaround in the tank. If you can post a website email me at wrxracer4@hotmail.com thanks
like smooth hounds and other sharks that stay kinda small. Do you carry any of them in your store cause i live like 30 minutes from your store. Also on your 1000 gallon tank at your store how did u get a good seal where the pond liner met the glass. Im in the processes of building a bigger tank (only ideas right now) But i dont know if i want wood, glass, or concrete block.
Search for a thread called shark tank filtration started by me. I explain briefly how it was built on there. Smoothounds do not stay small. They really require at least an 8' tank, although a 180 would suit a smaller one for a year or so. The only other normal aquarium shark that stays small would be a coral cat shark, but they are pretty much a bottom dwelling shark as well. They also need at least a 180 if they are going to be kept for any extended period of time.
What size tank are you planning to build?
i would like to get one thats 800 or 900 gallons that is like 10 feet long. It wouldnt be that much to build. The worst part would be making sure the glass issealed to the pond liner. Would silicone hold the seal for that or what. Does the pond liner shift where the glass meets it or what.
i dont really know when you have a pool setup does alot of water evaporate and what would you make it out of. I like both of the ideas. Can you use a huge pond liner on both of them or what.
i was thinking about running 2 or 3 fans to the outside to take some of the heat out of the room since i will have two tanks in one room. That might work a little bit. How do you people with huge tanks deal with the heat and evaporation in ur tanks.
What you are talking about is no simple process. It also is an expensive process, that will be very time consuming. I would go into this expecting to spend multiple thousands of dollars.
