Good News! It was just a molt and I didn't have to check the body, Sally's out and about already. I was concerned because I hardly ever see a full exo. Guess its because The Claw picks it over before I ever see it, just parts. I also never see shrimp molts, do they max out after a time? My understanding is that they'll still molt every once in a while; right or wrong?

Glad to hear, but still keep an eye on your CBS (I am biased for not liking them though). With a good clean up crew you will rarely see full molts laying around, just pieces if that. Shrimp will still molt once full size, just at a slower pace--you are correct. Also, if you ever try to catch the CBS they are sneaky, IMO, all the sudden they can move fast and "swim" like a squid would. I was shocked to see that and at the same time in awe. Not what you would expect. I also heard that sally's can get mean after some size is added, but I never had one, just hear say. HTH

Thanks Clarkii! I was wondering about the CBS. He always seems to move slowly and purposefully. Had a feeling he a surprise or two up his sleeve. I'll definitely keep an eye on him. We've got a smaller one in a 10g, so if The Claw gets too aggressive, they can swap spots 'til I can find a better home for him.
