Open Brain gets brown coloration

Ive had an open brain for only 2 days. Yesterday I noticed that during the day when the lights are on it gets this brown coloration toward the inside. The brain is green, and some of that green is going away.. I have T5 lighting so I dont think that its getting too much light. What could be causing this?
The first two pics are from the day I got the brain, and the last two are from a few minutes ago.In the pics that I took today there is less brown shown, than there actually is.

That may be the color of the coral. It may be getting to much light or not enough flow. It may just not be happy from being moved from one tank to another, or you may not have enough light. It could have been damaged on the way to your house. Its hard to tell but give some time. Would you feed that thing look at how hungry that thing looks.

Yeah I will see how it goes. Ive actually fed him 2 and half times. The reason I added the half is because two times I spot fed him and the other time he just caught some mysis by himself.I would feed again today,but I just dont want to over feed him.

^^Ok sounds good. I also want to make sure that Im not over feeding him? Like I said he has had mysis a few times since I got him.

i wouldnt feed the brain more than 2x a week. i actually only feed mine 1x every 2 weeks. some brown spots throughout the brain is normal. how far away from the t5 is the brain? brains actually need good light.
