open brain not opening

I received a green open brain in my swf.com order last Wednesday. It is now Sunday and I have yet to see it open up. Is this something to be concerned about? Its sweeper tentacles do come out at night.

He may be stressed a little from shipping. What other critters do you have in your tank? I had an angel fish that was nipping at mine, he didn't open until I put him in the refugium. Try feeding him when the sweepers come out

My Welsophylia brain i got online didn't send out sweeper tentacles for close to a month after I got it. I think it should be fine. My brain won't open if the dkh gets below 7 or so...found that out with a little mishap... . Also, if the feeder tentacles aren't out sometimes mine will respond to some krill and stick them out when I put the krill near its mouth. Something to try. Good luck.

I had the same problem with mine but I figured out it was getting to much flow, so i angled the powerhead a bit and now it's one of my favs...
