Open brain requirements?

I'm thinking about an open brain for my 29 gals, how much light do they need?I have 130 watt of pc. Any other special requirements? Do they need spot feeding or only light?
Is any brain easier then others?

brains seem to be more on the light-needing scale of PC's. my open brain almost died under VHO's, until i switched to T5. some brains have long stinging tentacles (aka sweepers)

salty you might be fine with that. VHO are pretty powerful, i only had 2 6 footers over my 150

it should do fine under ur lighting given ur water parmaters r good. open brain can grow quite big though, especially when its expanding. the sandbed is the best placement for it with low to medium indirect flow..
