nice! looks like yours is a little light starved. if it is healthy enough to put out feeding tentacles at night, spot feed it so it gets puffy and you dont see "ribs".
are you entering this in the contest? im not sure if they sell it here, wich one do you think it is?

Thanks man. I just recently got this piece. I'm a bit concerned that you say it may be a little light starved. I'm not that familiar with this type of coral and I asked the LFS if it looked healthy to him. He assured me that it was, although he said they just recently got it. I actually did spot feed him some mysis lastnight and it closed up on the mysis pretty nicely.
What should I look out for as far as him getting better/worse in condition? Should he get "plumper" so that it does not show its ribs?
Is there anything else I should do as far as feeding him other than mysis?
I had not thought of entering him into the contest, do you think I should? I thougt that it was a red/green open brain??

yea a very healthy specimen is quite plump as you say. if you look at mine, the outer ring is inflated almost a 1/2" + over the bones. 2nd pic on the right side, you can see how deep down the bones stop. if its feeding, then keep offering it food twice a week until it gets better. also what lights are you running?
i just sort of named it the red and green open brain, not sure if it is on this site or not.

Alright then, I'll just continue to feed it a couple of times a week and see how it does.
I have 216 watts of T-5 lights on my 55g tank...

Sounds like all you need is to give it time and the lights and mysis will do the rest

OK, so here are some updated images of my open brain. Mind you, I had just fed him a few minutes before these images. However, I do think that he is beginning to look much healthier.
