Opinions needed!

Anyone ever use stresszyme and have any good luck with it? I have a 55 gal FOWCC and seem to be stuck with high nitrites. I am considering trying this to maybe give the tank a little boost.
Thanks for your help! Tank has been running for about 10-12 weeks.

did your tank fully cycle???
if not this is normal, they will eventually come down on their own, adn i would not use stresss zyme, or do anything that could alter the progress of the cycle, if that is where you are, i do not like and have used stress zyme before

No it has not fully cycled, im stuck with nitrites right now, just curious if this was normal, i had been told by lfs it shouldve cycled by now

Wait another week or two. Personally, I have used stress zyme and I prefer it, but it's a matter of opinion. It dosn't sound like your tank is fully cycled. Give it a little mroe time and the levels will go down.

tanks all vary, even under the saem circustances, they stil vary, i have seen some last up to 6 months(which is very rare, but can happen), normally with fish cycling it took us about 2 or 3 months, of course, we were doing water changes too, which we found out later we shouldnot have been but that is another story, no water changes an dno skimming IMO should be done for cycling, i believe they will hold you back , if you do too much
so anyway, it is somewhat normal, often it can go faster(and does), but i do not plan on anything under 6 months, any sooner is a blessing to me, i know i would hate it to last that long, but it can and has happenend so i am realistically prepared for it to be that way

We used Stress zyme...also reccomended by LFS. We used damsels to cycle the tank, put LR in after one week and started adding the stresszyme...tank cycled in 24 days. I think the combination of LR and stress zyme helped the cycle along.
You must be more patient than I am...I could not stand a cycle lasting 6 months.
