My two clowns and my bicolor blenny have been in quarantine for brooklynella for the past 7 weeks. Before they even started treatment, I was cycling my new 24 gallon aquapod and it is ready (I believe) for the fish to be added into their new home once they are done in the QT. This tank has been up and running and has some corals in it, although it has never had any fish in it.
My question is this: Can I add all three fish into this tank all at once or will this overload the system? (This tank has never had any fish in it before).
If not, I would most likely add the bicolor first, then I would want to add the clowns. They are a mated pair so I would like to keep them together. How many weeks would I need to wait between adding the bicolor and adding the clowns to let the system equillibrate.

I'm no expert on plant/live rock only systems but if I understand what I've been reading online here your tank really hasn't cycled until you have fish in it. Their are additives you could use to do this but again from what I have read most people buy damsels keep them until the tank cycles then take them back to the lfs and see if they will take them back. Most lfs will but won't give you a refund.
I'm sure you are going to get the all mighty lighting and water specifications questions. Not to mention what type of life is in the tank? Live sand? Live rock? how much.
Just my 2 cents.

he is actually wrong most people agree its better to use a coctail shrimp to start the cycle. you cycle the tank with out fish beacouse the cycle can kill the fish.

I haven't came across that in the posts yet but again I am new to saltwaterfish.com's message board. I would follow connor's advice unless someone else says different.

You shouldn't cycle a tank with fish. As mentioned above, the majority of people do the raw cocktail shrimp method.
