Do you think on a 55gal fish only tank
1 coralife 10k and 1 actinic would look the same as
2 coralife 50/50's

i would go with 2 50/50.
what wattage are the bulbs? are they 65 watt bulbs?

No I will go with 2 40 watt...gonna be fish with some live rock...real simple set up.

even when my tank was a FOWLR tank i still ran a 4 x 65 fixture to give the rocks some nice color.

I hear ya.. but I figure 260 watts on a 55 with all that fish load will be ALGAE galore!
