180g tank coral cat is the only fish in the tank. i do not plan on adding any more fish the tank is just for the shark. some people say boring, but i say way not.

Well, if it is only the shark, then you might be OK. The skimmer, well, marginal. I've got the same - though modified to be back in the sump and not hang on - with the Mag 7 and the Kent venturi instead of the berlin venturi. But don't know how easy that would be with the hang on. How much LR do you have in the sump? How much and how often do you feed? What are your water parameters like?

sorry it took me so long to reply, working a lot of hours this week. ok the berlin is not a hang on, sorry for the confusion. it sits outside the sump, had it built up to sit outside and carry water that way 2 mag7's take some space so it would not fit inside. 50 lbs of live rock in sump, 60lbs in tank just enought for hidey holes for her. water changes every 2 weeks no exceptions 20%. feeding 3 times a week, mon. wens. fri. tests preformed every week. PH.8.2 salt,1.023 ammonia 0, nitrite 0 nitrate 10ppms. i know i should be fine for now, but future im am concerned about filtration, will thease canisters really be any good once she gets bigger, like 2 feet, if not how about some that will in the future. im always planning for changes to come. better to have the supplies now than later.
