Orange base Anemone problem

I have had an orange base anemone in my aquarium for a little over 2 weeks now. I have a 48'' smart light for lighting and very good water quality. I originally had it placed on some live rock with a "bowl shape" where it stayed for about 7 days, then un footed itself and let the current push it. Its now on the sand, in the same spot for about 5 days now, but refuses to foot itself in the sand or at all. I thought it wuold show signs of decline but this is not the case at all really. It is slightly smaller that it was when it was footed, but only by a diameter difference of about half an inch. Additionally it still takes food from me and grabs me if i get close. I thought that maybe it would feel cozier with some clownfish taking care of it. I obtained a small "pair" of true perculas at the 9 day point and they took to the anemone quickly. The anemone still has long full looking colorful tentacles, and other than not being footed seems normal. I have noticed that it rotated to face the light better, but sits on its side with the mouth and tentacles facing upwards. My question now is how do i get it to foot down better? Should i place it on rock again? Should i place it in a spot with more current (although current is good throughout my tank)? or should i just leave it alone and let it decide what it wants? Thanks in advance

Is it possible to get a "lazy" anemone that likes to lay down?! Mine has taken up a similar position, although it is in the rock. Seems to be doing fine, eats well, and looks great most of the time. It sometimes retracts away to almost nothing, but has always bounced back, generally looking better than before. From reading, I've almost convinced myself that the shrinking cycle is really a "purging of the system" cycle.
I'll try to attach pics (forgive the quality)

Here's a pic from the side. Looks like it's laying down! But the foot is attached firmly. It moved into this position on its' own, and has stayed here for over a week...

it doesnt really matter if its foot is down on anything, as long as it is open and getting lite, just leave it alone. if it wanted to put its foot on sumthing, it would, so u can just let it go where it wants. its hard to put an anemone where u want it to go

i dont know what kind of anemone you have but i know long tenacles are sometimes called "red foot". They prefer to plant their foot into the sand, it took mine a few weeks before it buried its foot. Just leave it alone and it will find a happy place.
