That is the lens I have on my Canon 20D. I would get it again, although the 100mm macro was a close 2nd choice. Wish I was rich and it wouldn't be a problem, LOL.

Thanks. This really helps. From what I've read over the last few days, the aftermarket macros for Canon really lack in the AF dept and most people said they just manually focus rather than fight the AF.
The Canon lenses seem to auto focus just fine. Have you ever had an auto focus issue with that lens?

When shooting macro it is always better to manually focus anyway.

Nope, I use the autofocus all the time. I try to use the av mode and stop down to 32 for anything that isn't moving.
