Hi everyone! I am new to this site and new to saltwater tanks. Right now I have a 75 gal reef tank. It has live rock and crushed coral substrate. In livestock I have 2 yellow tail damsels, cleaner shrimp, and some hermits and snails. I have about 8 or so soft coral frags. My questions is my orange spot goby has developed a dark spot starting from the top of his mouth and continuing to the top of his head between his eyes. It looks very similar to a bruise. He has been in my tank for about 2-3 weeks now and has been sifting and eating fine until about 2 days ago when I noticed the spot. I believe it is caused from a temp drop to about 73 degrees overnight. I was wondering if that could cause the spot or if I need to quarantine him? One yellow tail is showing some signs of stress but is otherwise eating fine.
