My zoo's that I added a couple of weeks ago have been staying closed for the past 3 days. Is this normal or should I move them closer to the lights. I have a stock 14g biocube and they are currently on a small rock on my sand bed.

My zoos have been acting the same way this week. I took them out and did a freshwater dip on them today. I was thinking that something was eating them but i didnt see anything on them.
I hope yours open back up did you check to see if anything was eating them?

zoanthids are invertebrates and should not be submitted to FW dips. Iodine dips some people recommend, but FW can kill them.

i've done FW dips on every single zoo colony/coral i had when i moved...as long as you just leave them in for like 5 minutes or so a FW should be fine for them

I don't see anything eating them at all. Iv'e aslo looked at pics of them when I first added them, and it appears they have all shrunk dramatically.
