Can you really find good live rock from online retailers?? Im skeptical.

We do not mind if you share your experience just don't want to be advertisers for other places. We are given this awsome BB by these people for free. I, for one, do not mind supporting these people. I have not been dissapointed by them yet!

I too have seen many posts by members that have been very pleased with their purchase of rock from SWF. I have ordered many Invert packages from here and can tell you they are the highest quality. I have never had any DOA or any die soon after... I will order again.. as soon as I find some more money

I have ordered live rock from here (came the other day) and from another place that had a special kind of rock I wanted. In both cases, the rock was beautiful, full of life, and much CHEAPER (even with shipping) then the lifeless crap they carry in the LFS around here. Don't hesitate..its a great way to do it, not to mention you don't have to transport it farther then your front door.

I too ordered rock form here and I am totaly pleased with my rock. But so far no life I think the long 2 day trips kills all the critters...
But other than that the rock has great coraline on it

If you could see the difference in the LR ordered online and the stuff at the LFS you would definitely order online.
I have ordered twice online, both times I cycled with my tank because I was setting up a new tank. Cycles took 3 weeks with the LR. My first order was from this site, and I was very pleased. FedEx took 3 days to get it to me and I still had very little die off. The second order was from premium aquatics because I wanted large pieces and I could talk with the fellow there to get exactly what I wanted. It was very nice also and the size pieces I wanted.
The only caution I would give you is to not order all the rock you need online. I have gotten two 7 lb pieces at the LFS with mushrooms on them and I have noticed that most larger corals come on pretty good sized pieces of LR. Make sure to leave some room for these purchases.
