I know it is a public aquarium but they should take better care of their tanks.
Some of their fish were a little pale and the tanks unkept.
The tanks that were reefs though were beaurtiful. If anyone in the area has a chance check it out. The corals are so full and HUGE!
But they had this one freshwater planted tank. Most of the plants were covered in a green slimmy algae.
Also they had a very small tank with a seahorse in it. The first time I looked at the tank I did not notice it but when I went back to It.. Everything was covered in Bristle worms.
The poor seahorse was kept going from one side of the tank to the other. When I went there a year ago they most of the fish especially the yellow tangs were sick with ich or hlle.
They also get rid of one or two of there reef tanks for freshwater and they also changed that middle section to alligators. Who cares about that.
But I do understand that it is a public display and what they have there depends on what the public wants to pay to see.
