Try to think of it this way. It's taking up every minute of the troops time too and you are providing vital information for us families who are worried. You are doing a good thing.:)

Good point. Thanks yall. You make the effort seem worthwhile. But dang... my stress level is nada compared to those poor soldiers over there. And I know expressing my opinion is bad... but I hope the special forces go into baghdad, rescue our captured troops, and then kick the ever living crap out of their captors.

This may be harsh to the innocent Iraqi people, but I think it's past time for them to take cover or get out of Baghdad if possible and we need to take out their power and communications. No way we should stand for what they are doing with these POW's. al jazeera TV need to be taken out too, wherever they are.

.... have you heard the latest - Iraqi forces are using women and children as human shields to protect what is left of their infrastructure. Unfortunately, it looks as though they only care about their stupid govt - not their people. How sad can your get.

Wrassecal- LOVE your avador.. Brother was a marine, but was killed a few years ago.... Hairtrigger- Relax, you know your tank and Gottie, and mr. bubbly are peacefuly waiting for you at home. I say we drop a few hydrogen bombs over there - screw em EVEN if they ARE using women and children to shield themselves. If that is their strategy, we need to over ride them, no matter what they do. I believe a hydrogen bomb is a 57 megaton? Correct me if I am wrong.....I would just love to see that place go up in one massive beautiful orange and purple mushroom cloud... Hell, I'll take it there and set it off myself. I'm sorry, but I need to vent......

Hey Hairtrigger
I heard on NPR Thursday that CNN was being kicked out of Iraq. They didn't say by who or why. I know I didn't misunderstand because my cousin who was in a different car also heard it.
Any idea where this story came from? Anyone else hear anything about it?

You guys at the network are doing a good job. I watch yours 90% of the time and then do a quick check of the other networks 10% of the time.

All we need to do his kill the future hitler and his supporters(brothers). Those people are scared, they were raised in fear and they have to do what Saddam says or he'll kill thier families, wouldn't you do that to save your families? War is pointless, but in the end the only people who lose, are the innocent ones, Saddam will get exactly what he wants if we bomb the place, his people will die painfully, and thats what he wants, hello, personality check here! :(

Sorry, quick reply. Busy.
CNN was kicked out because Saddam dislikes the bad publicity he is getting around the world.
Funny thing though:
He kicked FOX out before the war even started. :D
Thanks for the kind words yall. Still a long way to go before things get really nasty though. Wait till we hit Baghdad.

yeah hairtrigger, that should be a nice site. That place you will only read about in history books after we are done with it.
TIGERLOVER- You obviously havent seen an H-bomb being detonated, have you? There is not much pain when everything around you reaches about 1.5 million degrees in a quarter of a second, and then the blast.... lol.... The blast is what ends it all. After about a half-second of incinerating your flesh (no pain becasue your nervous system can not sense that temperature, plus all nerve endings would be dead by that time), the actual blast would turn you into dust. This all happens in a matter of about a second. It really depends on the distance from the firecracker. This is what we would call a weapon of mass destruction. If you were close to the bomb, you would basically feel nothing, just a sensory overload for a half-second. If you were far from the bomb, then you die off slowly from radiation poisoning with 5 arms and a tongue that hangs down to your feet..j/k lol..... Anywayz, the whole point is IT DOES NOT HAVE TO BE SLOW AND PAINFUL!! Sure, if we set off some nukes, it would be a little warm over there for a little while, but hey, at least the war would be over, and we would stop losing troops.:p :D

HairTrigger, I don't know if you've said before or not, but could you say what you do at CNN, if you don't mind my asking?

He's a close friend of mine. He does A LOT of things at CNN Headline News.... I don't know what exactly he does, but I know he writes, edits, and is responsible for damn near everything you here on CNN Headline. At least while he is at work... I don't want to misinform, he's quite the one to bite someone's head off for something like that..lol
