OT oil spill in my town

well if it is not on your news. I live in wareham mass wich is were the oil tanker spilled yesterday our beaches are toast all shellfish beds closed birds and stuff are dieing. this is not good

I lived in New Bedford and Fairhaven growing up....
Now in Fall River. My parents are now on the beach down the south end of New Bedford. I'm planning on going down there tonight to check out the effects.

Hey David,
I dont know if you got a chance to reread the message I had posted to your response. Anyways, if you didnt, IM FROM WAREHAM! My whole family is from that area (Wareham, Onset, BBay, PLymouth etc...) I cant believe it! You are the closest person to home that Ive found on SWF.
So... How bad is it? Isnt it mostly in B-Bay? Has anything washed up in Onset or Marion? Ill be up the first week of June for my cousins graduation. Im taking my boyfriend who has never even been to the ocean (can you believe that?) and I was bummed when I found out. I wish I was up there right now. Id be scrubbing oil off loons. Youll have to keep me posted on clean-up.
