Why are the pictures all squared up looking when I view them. They look like how a dirty(not ----) dvd looks. You know what I'm talking about? Could it be because we just switched to hi-speed internet? What can I do to fix this?
im not understanding what you are saying. Switching to hi speed internet has no effect on the way that your machine views a picture, unless you are talking about streaming media.
Can you clarify a little bit and i might be able to help you.
Are you referring to pitures on websites? Video downloaded from websites?
Sorry this is hard to explain. I am talking about the pics here on this site, I was just at cnn.com and the pics are normal there. On here the pics are blocked up. I can see the picture but it is in a bunch of squares.
ohhhh ok i understand. It sounds like a problem with resolution.
Some sites are best viewed in a certain monitor resolution. What is yours at right now?
It could be your browser just acting up as well.
Here are a few things to try
try 1024x768 or something close to that that your video card supports.
restart windows, or osX
check your monitor refresh rate.
Check the configuration of your monitor.
I have to go to work, but im sure someone else will chime in with some helpful hints. HTH
