Is that a game ranch or did you actually get that close in the woods?

If you are referring to me, it is Pedernales State park in the Texas hill country. The vertical foggy looking pic was taken at about a 1.5' distance.
Those were a few of the 15 or so deer that would come by every night. At one point we also had a dozen turkeys or so. About 9 of them were babies too. It was pretty cool to watch. We would go sit out every night and wait for them to come by.

Nice pics Aggie. I spend alot of my fall out trouncing through the woods taking photos. I LOVE the great outdoors.

Its fun doing photography. Don't get me wrong, I love to hunt, but its alot harder to get a good picture of an animal than it is to kill it. You have to get the animal out in the open, which they don't like. Then compose a shot, get close enough, check your background, and your lighting... THen click.

not that it comes anywhere even close to your pics, I took this one while mountain biking one day. It is with my daily use digital camera, zoomed in 100%. If only I had my good 35mm...

Actually the elk was after I emptied my gone into it. I just his propped hishead up with a stick.:thinking:
