Outlets above sump, evaporation?

Hello - I am thinking about mounting some power strips under my stand right to the side of my sump. Just wondering if evaporation or salt creep or anything like that would effect these. Thanks.

I'd be more worried about a splash, than anything else.
Everything else can be prevented with drip loops, GFCIs, and common sense.
How close are we talking here? 3"? 6"?

probably 5'' above the water level of my refugium and 3 inches off to the side.

If its a fuge, I'm assuming it has an open top?
That's too close. You could probably get an outdoor power strip with a cover, but if you're going to do that, you may as well just rewire and move hte power strip.
