Over Flow Makes Noise

Mr. Salty or Others,
I have two overflow boxes and they makes noise as the system is running. Is there anything i can ajust to reduce the noise. the noise is mainly from the down draft of the water. Any commments would greatly appreciated.

Have you tried this setup yet?? The hang on type is what I would need,but my box has three drain tubes in it.

First time was a failure. Used 3/4 pipe and my stand pipe... that was a no no. Second trip to Home Depot. Got 1.5 inch stand pipe and all other connection. No more noise... works great.......

Healerhand,How many gallons per hour do you have going through it now???

Mr. Salty,
Little Giant is rate 1150 gal/hour at 1 foot. 870 gal/hr at 5 feet. My return holes is about 5 ft. Due the restriction flow from the curve pipe. i need to add another U tube to compensate the restriction. It works great....
